Canon EOS Kiss X5 (from Japan!)

Just wanna voice out.. Don't mean to offend anyone.
Went over to Low Yat Plaza in KL today to search for a Canon DSLR with my daddy and siblings. Reached there, parked the car & full of anticipation to look for a camera selling with a good price..

We went straight to the UG Floor as directory said that that is the only floor with Camera shops.

Fun Fact: Do you know that in Lowyat, They charge you 50 Cents to go in the toilet PER PERSON?!

Went round a few shops, they gave us the prices of a Canon EOS 600D which are RM 1700, RM 1750 & RM 1799. 

We already wanted to buy from the shop which gave the lowest price + guarantee + free gifts (Call me "cheap", but, who doesn't like free gifts, am I right? ;] )
BUT, another guy that was peeking at us from another corner shop says that he'll sell us the Canon EOS 600 D camera, including all the free gifts from the previous shop we went to, for the price of RM 1500!
ISN'T THAT CHEAP?!
Now, we said we wanted this shop as we are really really satisfied that we get to save up to RM 200!
The guy asked us to walk around and return later on as he has a customer waiting to be served. We walked around, went to the Ground floor to the Sony roadshow, and went back up, excited to test the camera out! But, to our disappointment, we went back to the shop and the shopkeeper said to my dad, "I'm sorry, Sir. Canon EOS 600D is all sold out. Would you want to look at our Canon EOS 650D?". 

We were like, WTF? Why is it out of stock when we asked you in the first place whether "DO YOU HAVE STOCK?". I... was speechless.. He played with my feelings (lol). I was so so so so happy! Before that, I even whatsapp-ed my boyfriend, Shaun & my good friend, Nick, saying "Imma happy girl! (smiley) (smiley) (smiley)". & NOW, I just felt like I've been punched in the face...

My dad said, "It's okay, girl. We'll go find some place else, okay?". 
My dad then called his friend whose friend sells camera & asked him how much was the cost price of the Canon 600D, and he said it was RM 1599. So, My dad concluded that, the shopkeeper gave us the wrong price, and then they paiseh to let us know, so they just say "No stock".

So, with my heart broken & mood brought down, we went round the floor to look for more shops. They gave us the prices RM 1900, RM 1799, lowest, RM 1750.
Saw the shopkeeper who wanted to sell us the camera fro RM 1500, going to another camera stall taking stocks from there. Apparently, they're associated and the man at the small stall (I suspect is the boss) was selling the camera for RM 1799, which is their best price. The young shopkeeper didn't even dare look at us.
Then, we came across a shop with a really rude old man. He was like "我给你RM1700. 只Free你一个 bag。你都走完真个地方了，这一个价钱是standard了。要就买，不要就别买。去别的地方吧“ ("I give you price RM 1700 + bag only. You went round already, I'm very sure this is the standard price they give you too. Want buy, buy, don't want, then go other places." )
Another WTF. Sighed, and walked off.

We went back to the shop where we first wanted to purchase but the young guy went out for dinner! So, we waited for really quite long for him. He came back, told us the price, & we said OKAY! I was happy again :) then, he went and call someone to get the stock, BUT, he came back to us telling us "NO STOCK". AGAIN?! He asked us to come back on Monday as they will have stock again. My dad said it's okay, then we walked out.

Went in another shop, they said they will sell us the Canon EOS 600D for RM1700, so my dad said, okay! Then another guy from the same shop says, "Oh, sold out orh. I JUST sold the last one. Buy Nikon lah! Nikon better mah". (This guy, gets the commission from Nikon. So, no wonder.)
Then we were like, "Nah, we want Canon".
Then he replied, "Oh, liddat ah. I can sell you Canon 600D, but different lens lah. The longer one. Want mou? RM 2K+ thou".
We were like, NAHH... So we walked away.

Then went pass alot of shop, and alot of them told us that Canon EOS 600D is very hard to find nowadays. So it's like, out of stock already.

Then, we came across this quiet shop. No customers in there.. So we were like, let's check it out. Not sure whether have we asked the guy before or not. & Yes, we asked before & the guy remembered me. He repeated the price to me with a dull and dead voice & face, "RM 1700, + Canon bag, 8GB Memory Card & Tripod". 
Then I looked at my dad, then turned back at the shopkeeper asking him "有没有 STOCK?" ("Got stock or not?") 
He confidently replied, "有". ("Got")
Then he called someone and asked about the stock. He put down the phone, and then told us, "EOS 600D, 没完了。只有EOS Kiss X5. 你介意吗?" ("EOS 600D, out of stock. We only have EOS Kiss X5 left. Do you mind?")
I was like... wtshit? no 600D again? but, what is Kiss X5?
Then he nicely explained to me, "Kiss X5 & 600D is the same :) It is also the same as Rebel T3i. Different names, different place manufactured. 600D is manufactured in Asian countries, while Kiss X5 is in Japan & Rebel T3i is in America :) If you don't believe me, you can check Google... Alot of Malaysian don't believe me and they just walk away :(("
I wasn't quite sure, so I checked online and it really is! :)

The Canon EOS 600D is an 18.0 megapixel digital single-lens reflex camera, released by Canon on 7 February 2011.^[1] It is known as the EOS Kiss X5 in Japan and the EOS Rebel T3i in the Americas.

I was quite shocked! I didn't know different countries have different names :o And the name Canon EOS Kiss X5 is so so cool! x) I was kinda jakuning. haha.

So, I said, I didn't mind, and he took the stock for me.. :) I am a happy girl! :) The dull & dead voiced shopkeeper is like joking and laughing while talking now! It was kinda funny how he transformed once I told him I wanna buy the camera. heh.
Apparently, he was teaching photography before selling cameras. haha..
We said thank you, and left.

So, yeah :) WHEEEE~ IMMA HAPPY GIRL ^^
Went for dinner at Restaurant Siu Siu in KL. Did alot of test shots there :)

I'm finally feeling happier and starting to appreciate life more than I already do.
I'm once again looking forward to a new day everytime I open my eyes and jump out of bed.

Being with the best friends, every once in a while, living how we were in high school. I really miss those days.
Being with the college mates, laughing about ANY & EVERY thing. Being just like immature little kids we are.
Being with the family members, sharing jokes and stories from our lives in schools, college & work.
Being with the boyfriend, he's always there for me. Being an awesome idiot as he is, always making me laugh, making me happy.

Well, yeah, I went to one of Leehom's 3 day concert in Genting Highlands!
I went for the second day, which they say is nothing compared to the third day, but, nah, its okay!
Leehom was FANTASTIC!

My baby put up such a great show! :') <3 just awesome! From 8:30PM - 11:30PM, Starting with Huo Li Quan Kai, and ending with Kiss Goodbye..

I miss you already :'(

Life Updates :)

I'm sorry that I haven't been updating my blog T.T
I hear my blog cryingg~

So, what has been going on in my life?
1) I started college! :)
2) Met alot of new friends
3) I'm still making more and more new friends :)
4) The 1st semester of college is coming to an end.
5) OH YA, GOT MY DRIVING LICENSE & I'M DRIVING EVERYWHERE :D
6) I'm more hardworking in college than in high school.
7) I'm louder in college than in high school.
8) I laugh louder and am crazier in public than I usually am.
9) I'm still single ;) No right guy yet.
10) and most importantly, I miss my Best Friends, YueTeng & Mayli. :'(

I haven't been able to meet up with the Best Friends for quite sometime now :(
We all have exams and test coming up. The only bad thing about being in college.
We all can't see and catch up with each other as much as when we're in high school.
Thinking about it kinda makes me wanna cry.. Sighh... They are the closest to me in terms of relationships.

I hope to meet up with them very very soon :(
